The Puppy Primper Salon & Spa is a local, family owned business. Geri, her husband Brian and their son Alexandr have been living and working in the Copperfield area of NW Houston for over 13 years! We are focused on providing dog hair styling, grooming, bathing and spa services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction & we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. Why choose us?
Geri Kelly has been working with dogs for almost 3 decades! She went to college to become a veterinary technician and while completing an internship at a local animal hospital she would watch the groomer work and decided she wanted a career making dogs look and feel their best! Geri graduated from the prestigious New York School of Dog Grooming in September 1993 and has been pampering dogs both in NY and in Houston, TX since then.
Our salon offers express service appointments all day long! We stagger appointments throughout the day so your pup is here only for the time it takes to pamper and primp him/her. Most pups take about 2 hours or less total time and you can pick them up as soon as they are ready. NO sitting in a kennel all day listening to other dogs barking!
We only use very high quality, all natural, upgraded, luxury shampoos, conditioners and hair products. We do not use any products that contain harmful chemicals, dyes, SLS or parabens. We carefully read the ingredient labels on every product to ensure your pup gets only the very best!
We have an open floor plan so you can see everything. We also use essential oils in our salon for maximum relaxation and a calming atmosphere
Geri keeps up with regular continuing education classes, seminars and workshops including training by award winning groomers, Nationally Certified Master Groomers and members of Groom Team USA. She wants to always be kept abreast with the most current techniques and safety standards because your dog deserves the very best!
